THE JOURNEY ISN’T OVER — IT’S EVOLVING
Epic Ultras was never just about races. It was about daring to sign up for something most people thought was impossible, standing at the starting line with fear in your gut and resolve in your heart, and then digging deep mile after mile until you broke through to something bigger than yourself. It was about friendships forged in sweat and blisters, volunteers who gave their all, and ordinary people discovering they could do extraordinary things. Together, we built a community that thrived on grit, laughter, shared suffering, and the joy of crossing finish lines that once seemed unreachable.
That community — you — is what made Epic Ultras unforgettable. The runners, the volunteers, the fans who showed up at 3 a.m. with cowbells, and the families who cheered at every finish line — you were the heartbeat of it all. Epic Ultras didn’t just change me; it changed everyone who was part of it. That tribe proved that endurance isn’t just about running long distances — it’s about living with courage, resilience, and heart.
That spirit has never left me. It’s still who I am at my core. But the journey has evolved. This isn’t about theories from a textbook — it’s about real-world leadership forged on the trail, in the trenches of business, and through the relentless pursuit of personal transformation. It’s where the psychology of ultrarunning collides with the everyday demands of leading people, managing time, and chasing goals that matter.
And soon, I’ll be opening up the next chapter in my story with my upcoming book, No Arrival: A Journey of Endurance, Self-Discovery, and Transformation. Just like the races we shared, this book is about the journey itself — and how that journey transforms us in ways the finish line never could. As Neil Peart once wrote: “The point of the journey is not to arrive.” That truth is at the heart of everything I’m building next.
The road ahead is wide open. The journey isn’t over — it’s evolving. And I’d love for you to be part of it.
