Featured Runner “Farhad Zarif” October 2017

Farhad Zarif is a man of exceptional spirit, who dares to accomplish the impossible, with a disregard for anything that tries to keep him from his accepted challenge. He’s lived his entire life facing challenges and climbing mountains that most would never dare. As a young man, he was an Olympian athlete, a veteran of two wars, a prisoner of war (barely escaping with his life), and most recently a Cancer survivor. Farhad continues to face life head-on today as an ultramarathoner who refuses to give up.
