THE COURSE — SIMPLE, FAST, AND HAUNTED AS HELL

A roughly ⅓-mile USATF CERTIFIED fine crushed-gravel loop winding through the historic Old Cowtown village.
You’ll pass saloons, homesteads, barns, storefronts, and dusty frontier streets — all frozen in time.
Every 4 hours, the course direction reverses to keep your legs fresh and your mind sharp.

And after dark…

For this 24-Hour Event, the Historic Cowtown Ultra Series (Round #1), I must complete a minimum of 100km to qualify for refund consideration. No Refunds. No Deferrals. No Transfers.

No Waitlist. No Reassignments. No Exceptions.

All Epic Ultras events are capped and sell out quickly.
To maintain fairness, race integrity, and clean race-day logistics, all registrations are final.

If you register and are unable to attend for ANY reason…personal, medical, family, injury, scheduling, travel, weather, etc., your slot is not reused, resold, reassigned, or transferred to another runner.

WE DO NOT:

• refund registrations

• defer entries to future events

• transfer entries to other runners

• offer rollover credits

• or fill vacated spots from any waiting list

Once your registration is complete, your presence or absence does not affect the field cap.

We do not backfill dropped runners.

A smaller starting field simply becomes part of the final race starting count.

This policy keeps the race fair, protects the integrity of the capped field, and prevents administrative chaos, ensuring the elite-level experience runners expect from Epic Ultras.
